About Jeff Unbreakable Black

Born with the brittle bone disease Osteogenesis Imperfecta (O.I.), Jeff defied the challenges imposed by the condition, learning to believe in himself and achieve what many deemed “impossible.” Osteogenesis Imperfecta is a rare genetic disorder causing bones to break easily, affecting approximately 25,000 people in the U.S. The severity of the disease varies, leading to a few to several hundred fractures throughout a person’s life.

Facing this daunting reality, Jeff underwent multiple leg surgeries by the age of fourteen, all in pursuit of the ability to walk. His foray into health and fitness began when a physical therapist handed him a weight, sparking a passion for working out to strengthen his upper body and enhance mobility with crutches and a wheelchair. This moment marked a turning point, empowering Jeff and setting the stage for a life-changing journey.

Despite the challenges posed by his brittle bone disease, Jeff ventured into bodybuilding in 2006, continually improving his physique. His journey, marked by resilience, has transformed him into a coach and inspirational figure. Jeff uniquely understands that achieving the “impossible” becomes a reality when individuals believe in themselves, harbor passion for their goals, and possess the grit to build momentum. He strives to instill this mindset in each of his clients.

Jeff currently dedicates himself to coaching full-time, operating both in-person sessions at his gym, Iron House Strength & Conditioning in Nashville, TN, and offering online coaching programs tailored to individual needs.

“To undergo a positive physical and mental transformation, one must relentlessly pursue it. Every day requires trampling the white flag one might be tempted to wave.” – Jeff
