Advanced Micronutrient Products: 2 Can't Fail Supplements To Add For Longevity, Health, and Fitness.
Most people do not know what micronutrients are, but they are our very best friend when it comes to helping us slow down aging, recover from bouts of stress, and make our lives healthier. Our food contains Micronutrients: vitamins, fatty acids, amino acids, and minerals. Depending on your food, they may be low in your body due to past or current poor food choices. Many of us are deficient in micronutrients, especially minerals. Research is starting to reveal the effects of modern, westernized food choices we tend to choose that are often stripped of micronutrients due to processing. The other downfall of processed foods is they require micronutrients to make the calories used by the body. A true lose/lose situation.

Advanced Micronutrient Products:  What is the best definition for mineral nutrients and vitamins?

Most people do not know what micronutrients are, but they are our very best friend when it comes to helping us slow down aging, recover from bouts of stress, and make our lives healthier.

Our food contains Micronutrients: vitamins, fatty acids, amino acids, and minerals. Depending on your food, they may be low in your body due to past or current poor food choices. Many of us are deficient in micronutrients, especially minerals.

You need to know a few things about how vital micronutrients affect your body. Your body uses micronutrients to perform nearly everything it needs to do to keep us alive.

They regulate your heartbeat and help cool your body off when it is too hot. They are required to help create neurotransmitters that help with your mood. And they even help synthesize energy and repair DNA.

Research is starting to reveal the effects of modern, westernized food choices we tend to choose that are often stripped of micronutrients due to processing. The other downfall of processed foods is they require micronutrients to make the calories used by the body. A true lose/lose situation.

They affect the body to promote good health and robust systems at the cellular level. Because of all the great things they offer, you can think of your nutrition as a direct link to determining how well you age.

Advanced Micronutrient Products: Lower Inflammation And Improve Health Markers.

Micronutrients positively affect your body by helping to lower inflammation and clear blood vessels, to name a few benefits.

High levels of inflammation can also impact your micronutrient levels if you are overexercising and not eating a balanced diet. The Western diet also sets us up for failure because of the pro-inflammatory nature of processed foods and the oils found in them. Say seed oil free after me, please. These seed oils drive inflammation off the charts.

Another culprit of inflammation to consider is the number of heavy metals and environmental toxins in your body.

Fat stores these culprits of inflammation, which does leech micronutrient levels.

Think of your mineral levels regarding how resistant your body and cells are to inflammation and oxidative stress repairing after the damage is done.

A few examples of things that can happen from a few different micronutrient deficiencies are:

Iodine, an essential micronutrient related to your thyroid health, has declined over the years due to the war on salt. Long-term iodine consumption is linked to a sluggish thyroid, known as hypothyroidism. Slow thyroid = weight gain.

Consumption of B vitamins and omega fatty acids has been shown to help prevent our mental decline as we age. Dementia and Alzheimer’s cases are being diagnosed more and more each year. An inflamed brain is = a cognitive drain.

Magnesium is needed to help repair your nervous system from exposure to bouts of stress. Magnesium is required in hundreds of processes, from heartbeats to muscle contractions: subpar micronutrient levels = longevity stunting.

But why are we deficient in micronutrients? A lot of it has to do with how we eat. The majority of food being consumed is highly refined. This means that as the food is processed, micronutrients like minerals and vitamins are ripped away due to the processing. So, while you might be overfed due to the caloric density of the food, you are more than likely undernourished due to the lack of micronutrients the processed food contains.

Another factor contributing to our lack of nutrients in food lies in agriculture.

Due to overcropping, the soil we provide to our micronutrient friends is less than it was a few decades ago regarding the nutrition the food being taken from that area offers us.

Throw in pesticides, fertilizers, and other chemicals we use on our food, and you can see why experts say our food is about 30-60% less nutritious today than it was decades ago. Looking at the research you source from, the vast majority agree that food is less healthy for us than even a decade ago.

Let’s take a moment to frame the longevity component of micronutrients. These can be thought of as the foundation for your house. Who builds a million-dollar home on a cheap foundation?

Advanced Micronutrient Products: Things To Consider

Over the years, a lot of the diet space to sell quick fixes for quick cash has labeled fruit as a bad guy, creating an aversion to consuming it because sugar and carbs are bad for you. Avoiding fruit avoids vitamins and minerals that help nourish your body.

But, when we over-exercise, eat too many processed foods, or have too many heavy metals and toxins in our bodies, we can end up with too much inflammation and micronutrients.

Over the last few years, with the advancements of technology came the ability to monitor a variable worth watching, known as Heart Rate Variability.

HRV is a longevity marker that lets you know your biological age. Micronutrients are comprised of vitamins and minerals. They also play a significant role in your HRV. Deficiencies in micronutrients will cause an increase in biological age.

If you monitor your HRV with a device (I use Oura Ring), you should consider tracking micronutrients to improve HRV. One app I use is Chronometer to help me balance out the food I am eating to ensure I do not allow a deficiency to build over time.

I know I have yet to eat a blizzard and wake up the next day with a recovery score above 65. The quality of your food matters is the take-home message. Make your plate bright, nutritious, and fortified with foods that have micronutrients.

Advanced Micronutrient Products: A Need Today

Mineral deficiencies might drive or contribute to all chronic diseases, and tracking your micronutrients is one way to combat a poorer quality of life as we age.

Also, suppose you do not have a diet plentiful in micronutrients. How will your body have the raw materials it needs to build muscle and fuel your metabolism to burn body fat? It’s not.

Micronutrients are crucial for keeping us healthy and ensuring our body works at a cellular level. From helping create and fuel hormones to your metabolism and bone health, their importance is often overlooked.

Instead, someone usually buys a fat-burning supplement. It is the equivalent of trying to turn pro in football without ever playing a snap of it.

I want people to consider the Ozempic craze for a minute. If you are eating less, what are the odds you are not nourishing yourself by eating less, creating further hormone imbalances?

Things like your hair falling out, thyroid hormones slowing down, and loss of muscle mass will happen from eating less over time.

Advanced Micronutrient Products: Multivitamin And Greens Products

A good greens product, eating organic and across the rainbow, or a high-quality multi-vitamin/mineral product (you might want to check out www.nuethix.com/numulti – you can use the discount code Relentless10) are 3 ways you can support your body to allow it to rest and recover. I know I personally use the multivitamin to watch my iron intake as men want to be at 8mg a day. Women though I will recommend a greens proudct to as it does have iron in it and women need more, 16mg a day, unless in menopause and or not having a cycle. Micronutrient fortification is also a great step to help bring back a lost cycle from overdieting and overexercising.

Your nutrition is the foundation of the house you build. Micronutrients should be considered when you are looking at your nutrition plan. If you are still waiting for results, you should look at the foods you eat.

I recommend that my clients eat foods off the Mediterranean food lists. They are the foods found in blue zones, which are areas that have been studied because they live longer than average.
